Are ALL politicians beholden to corporate power? Is Aung San Suu Kyi beholden to a corporate mafia? Was Nelson Mandela? It’s a rather sweeping statement to make that they’re *all* criminals. Be careful not to besmirch the name of everyone.

I reckon the powers that be, felt he was more easily controlled than HRC due to his lack of experience of any kind. Also, I reckon they knew our economy was collapsing and they were worried about the unrest that would make in the populace. I reckon they thought with an AA Prez, there would be less rioting and a much longer lag time in mad reactions from said populace. He buys them time to prepare whatever they plot to do with the unruly mob that no jobs leads to sooner or later.

At this point I reckon many of them are embarrassed to admit how much they have been duped. Like a battered woman who is ashamed to admit how far she has gone down the incorrect path and so stays in denial. Her options seem so limited.
